Celebrating the next generation of civil engineers

1 July 2027 | London Hilton on Park Lane

Now celebrating 30 years, the NCE Graduate and Apprentice Awards - delivered in partnership with the Institution of Civil Engineers - recognises the next generation of civil engineers as part of the NCE Awards evening.

Whether you're a graduate, apprentice or degree apprentice, these awards celebrate the next generation of civil engineers in the same room, on the same night, as the industry's leading firms - with three young professionals crowned in front of key industry figures on 1 July 2027.

Entries don't require company approval - they're submitted by the candidate themselves, supported by a testimonial from a line manager or mentor. Submit your entry by 12 February 2027.

Judging criteria

  • Evidence: the response references at least one specific project, idea or piece of research to support its argument
  • Endorsement: the testimonial provides specific, corroborating examples of the candidate's contribution and potential, rather than generic praise
